Audio Test – “Paper Doll”

This is a short audio test I used to try to diagnose some static/cracking in my audio when recording with OBS. It turned out that the cracking was only present when I played a clip on my 2015 MacBook Pro using QuickTime Player. With QuickTime Player, the audio and video also get out of sync. I suspect there is a video frame rate inconsistency between the camcorder, OBS, and QuickTime … but it still seems there is only a problem when I record using OBS and playback using QuickTime Player on my 2015 MBP.

Camcorder: Panasonic VX-870K
Microphone: RØDE VideoMic NTG
